Reviewer Benefits & Recognition

ANJMLS recognizes the valuable contribution of peer reviewers to maintaining the scientific quality, integrity, and credibility of scholarly publishing. Reviewers who successfully complete assigned peer-review responsibilities may receive the following forms of recognition and benefit:

1. Official Reviewer Certificate: Reviewers who successfully complete an assigned peer-review assignment may receive an official ANJMLS Reviewer Certificate recognizing their scholarly contribution to the journal's peer-review process.

2. Reviewer Recognition: With the reviewer's consent, ANJMLS may recognize active reviewers through appropriate journal-level reviewer recognition initiatives while maintaining the confidentiality and anonymity requirements of the peer-review process.

3. Future Reviewer Recognition Platforms: As ANJMLS develops its international scholarly infrastructure and indexing profile, the journal intends to explore appropriate reviewer-recognition and credit services, including the Web of Science Reviewer Recognition Service and other suitable scholarly recognition platforms, subject to eligibility, availability, technical integration, and applicable service requirements.

4. Future APC Benefit for Active Reviewers: Following the planned introduction of Article Processing Charges from January 1, 2028, ANJMLS intends to provide eligible active reviewers with a 25% discount on the applicable APC for qualifying future submissions. Eligibility for this benefit will depend on the reviewer's completed qualifying review assignments, the availability of the reviewer-benefit program at the relevant time, manuscript eligibility, and the journal's APC and reviewer policies then in effect.

5. Recognition Based on Quality and Timeliness: Reviewer benefits and recognition may take into consideration the quality, completeness, relevance, confidentiality, and timely submission of review reports. Completion of a review assignment does not automatically guarantee eligibility for every future reviewer benefit.

Future Benefit Disclaimer: Future reviewer-recognition services, external platform integrations, APC discounts, and other reviewer benefits are developmental initiatives and are subject to operational feasibility, service availability, indexing and infrastructure development, reviewer eligibility, and the journal policies applicable at the relevant time. Reviewer participation does not guarantee manuscript acceptance, publication, indexing, or any future financial benefit.
